I enjoy water activities like SCUBA, paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating with my sons. I also enjoy traveling, concerts, plays, opera, festivals, 5K's, amusement parks, museums, cooking and volunteering for mission trips.

Dr. Shields received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Smith College, Northampton MA. She then went on to complete a Master of Science in Microbiology at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. In 2015, she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. and in 2016 completed a General Practice Residency at Faxton St. Luke's Hospital in Utica, New York
Life & Hobbies
After training and working for several years in the northern states of the United States, Dr. Shields appreciates and is loving the sunshine and warm weather in Florida. She believes in health as a total package, and thus strives to encompass that in mind, body and spirit. She enjoys jogging outside, strength training in the gym, or exercising her mind with a good book.
